AU: Ryan and Marissa have never met. They've heard about eachother, and know who eachother are, but they don't know eachother personally. Ryan's dating Chole, and Marissa's dating Volchok. Volchok and Chole used to date and have a huge history, and are still very good friends and hang out with eachother. Marissa gets suspicious that there is still something between Volchok and Chole. She knows Ryan's dating Chole, andfeels it's only fair he knows about her suspistionstoo. She's friends with Seth, and knows that Seth and Ryan are brothers so she calls Seth, gets Ryan's cell number, then calls Ryan and asks if she could meet up with him. They do, he feels the same way and so they decide to investigate together. So, at a school dance Volchok and Chole ditch Ryan and Marissa. They team up and look for them and find them making out together.Ryan dumps Chole later that night. And, Marissa finds Volchok later that night and slaps him hard across the face, and dumps him. AU: Julie constantly verbly abuses Marissa. Which leads her to turn to alcohol, drugs, and volchok. Her mom starts to notice it but says nothing, then after a big blow out Marissa ODs. While in the hospital Julie tells Marissa she's taking her to a rehab (which is not shown in the video). When Marissa returns she immediatly falls back into the same state she was at before. One day she drops a bunch of her stuff in the hall way, seeing this Ryan, (Ryan and Marissa have never spoken before) helps her pick up her stuff. While doing this he finds a flask on the floor, Marissa gets it from himn and walks away. That nigth Ryan finds Marissa passed out of her driveway, he carries her into his room and lets her stay there. The next day she thanks him. Later on at a school dance Ryan sees Volchok making out with another girl, Marissa shows up and sees it too, ending her relationship with him. She gets drunk later on by herself. She comes back to the party and stands alone outside. Ryan sees this and goes out to comfort her, not realizing she's drunk. He gives her a ride home and she pulls out a different bottle of alcohol, Ryan realizes she's drunk and gets mad and throws the bottle out of the car.
