The timber and the vibrato is often much the same, and this is due to the similarity in the atonomy of the face and the vocal chords, cause thats where the sound is made. So whatever Jeff was ripping off his father wasn't neceserally all his own wishes..

Dec 6, 2008 - jeff buckley was tim's son, who he sadly only met once... if i am not mistaken, tim could reach 5 octaves, and jeff could reach 3.they both have a different approach to music, jeff being more sombre and chilling, and tim being experimental and completely heart-breaking on some songs..i'm a fan of them both, though i listen to tim much more..
