Jun 10, 2008 - I love old metal, but really could care less if I fit 55 notes into one bar of music... I've never been a "fast player". Give me old Black Sabbath anyday. Compared to other modern metal type bands they actually have buzz AND melody. Plus chops. Just my opinion... thanks
TravuhsWree Says:
Jun 10, 2008 - You don't need to be fast and I don't even like metal but shredding like Satch style is pretty tite.

Jul 22, 2008 - Your whammy bar dosen´t move how do you that?, i mean a have this guitar, but my whammy bar always fall down, where is the point of this adjustment. the EDGE III bridge is really bad for me.
BostonRocker51 Says:
Jul 22, 2008 - gitanomestizo, for the whammy bar - just make sure it's screwed in with the right tension & it will stay put... I am not a fan of the Floyd Rose tailpiece on this guitar. If I was going to play out w the axe I'd replace the bridge.
tm995 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - I can't make my whammy bar stay still, toocan someone make a short video on how to do that please?
BostonRocker51 Says:
Aug 2, 2008 - I'd have to see the axe. Maybe the locking nut is stripped or missing on the whammy bar. Try taking it to your local guitar store and get their advise. best of luck, man.

Aug 5, 2008 - nice playing, and nice axe! I am planning to buy one of these, I'm a big Satch fan....just a little worried about this Edge III bridge...do you think I should immediately put a good floyd right after buying it? Thx! Rock on!!
BostonRocker51 Says:
Aug 5, 2008 - fodacvc - thx fot the comment. it's a really nice axe, but I'm no fan of the bridge. Ask around, find a bridge you really like & put it on is my recommendation - enjoy...
Shaunzy2069 Says:
Oct 3, 2008 - aint sure if its the similar to my floyd rose bridge on my ibanez but... i had the same problem of my wammy bar always falling down, i got a cellophane bag and stretched it over the end before pushing the wammy bar back in to the floyd, then when its starts loosing its position, get a new bag on it.... make sure you cut it so you cant see it :P

Oct 28, 2008 - Nice playing, Getting one for Christmas,Can't wait
dahmikeman Says:
Oct 29, 2008 - the bridge is fine, joe rips on it. its a very good bridge,
BostonRocker51 Says:
Oct 29, 2008 - it's a great bridge unless you have to re-string the axe... then you realize what a freakin pain in the ass it is. I like the guitar a lot, the body is really resonant and it sounds nice, but that bridge drives me to distraction. I kept thinking about when the strings would wear out.
dahmikeman Says:
Oct 30, 2008 - i actually have a bridge similar to that on my guitar. wen the strings wear down it is a pain in the ass. but change one string at a time. and its alot easyer

Nov 10, 2008 - I´m looking to buy one, are you shure it´s "only" 700 ?!
UltimateGuitarist17 Says:
Nov 19, 2008 - Hey would you say its a huge leap from the JS100 to the js1000, would really appreciate your thinking because im probably getting a js1000 soon
BostonRocker51 Says:
Nov 19, 2008 - UltimateGuitarist17 - sorry, but I have not tried both so I can't comment. Just a suggestion... try both... and...in this economy you might be able to find a slightly used JS1000 for less than a new JS100. best wishes...
guitarzan96 Says:
Dec 6, 2008 - well if u googl ibanez js 100 satriani signature it ranges to bout 500 pound but if u put in js 1000 it ranges to bout 1,1000 pound so i wud say there is a pretty big leap
