Oct 24, 2008 - A really beautiful song! God bless Robbie Dupree! Such beautiful chords!
andyinoregon Says:
Oct 24, 2008 - Yeah, Robbie "Stole Away" with the Michael McDonald/Kenny Loggins song "What A Fool Believes." One of the most blatant musical thefts in the history of popular music.
ScooterMcGradencrock Says:
Oct 27, 2008 - God i know...problem is, the hook is so catchy that this song remains bitching. ....kudos to McDonald - Robbie should rise to an apology for this nasty little jam.
MauryDann73 Says:
Oct 28, 2008 - You are correct! I heard this on the radio yesterday and thought for at least 2 minutes that it was What a Fool Believes...kept waiting for the chorus that never came.
MrGoldenwaffler Says:
Oct 29, 2008 - Hey, guess what ... this really isn't like "Fools Believe" at all. Listen to the two songs ... both have their own signature - is probably cause they are from the same era - that they have the same kind of "easy going" style.
DarekHB Says:
Oct 31, 2008 - And the fact that Micheal McDonald is singing back ups on it doesn't hurt. But I was thinkin the same thing kind of. I know they're not the same song but my friend started singin this song and I instantly thought of Fools Believe. Funny shit.
MrGoldenwaffler Says:
Nov 1, 2008 - But the thing is ... M/M didn't sing backup!
DarekHB Says:
Nov 1, 2008 - Are you sure? He may have done ghost backing and wasn't credited for it. He did a lot of backing vocals in the late seventies and early eighties. His voice is pretty distinctive.
Yamahadrummer420 Says:
Nov 14, 2008 - The singer has fantastic stage presence. He is all over that stage.
zulutda Says:
Nov 17, 2008 - Alright this is one of my alltime songs, yet robbie you really cant dance, though that makes this vid more enduring to me. I get a kick out of the fact that at the time one of his buds/grouppies prob told him that 'he has some great moves.
zulutda Says:
Nov 17, 2008 - id just like to add in terms of outfit/dance/looks its 1000000x more honest than any modern:current pop music will be
Garvarino Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - You cant really sense sarcasm on a post,,, but you are kidding right ??
daftpheonix Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - was thinking the exact same thing, this song is my guilty pleasure because it takes a lot from what a fool believes
m14m1a1 Says:

zulutda Says:
Nov 20, 2008 - lol yeah after watching this vid 1000x times i guess men of that persausion might find this vid so...fa sure
Ivertheviking Says:
Nov 23, 2008 - Great music but this song is hella gay!
SavedByGraceAdam Says:
Nov 23, 2008 - he looks like fred penner
mkach48 Says:
Nov 24, 2008 - This is a very good song..You don't have to be gay to like this song even though there are people with homosexual tendencies that criticize it.
Sextietta Says:
Nov 26, 2008 - He dances like Obama on Ellen, just a little bit groovier. Apart from that, I just love this clip. Fab music from a fab time of my life. It is not bad now either, but oh those years were good. I dont know if he is gay or not and really could not care less, the music is great and still sounds fine.

Oct 20, 2008 - warner music japan....... I do not need to see anything marked it was owned by japan.I wonder how Robbie feels about it.I would cancel my contract with warner to keep ownership 100% in USA. Would Japan prevent Robbie from singing?
