Nov 5, 2008 - How do these kits compare to the RET Percussion electronic drums?I am just talking about the drums. RET is using Evans drum heads and the new drum software, which does sound incredible. But what about the drums themselves?

Dec 1, 2008 - I want to get into drumming and have played a little bit on my friend's kit but I am by no means a pro. Should I buy an electric kit or an acoustic kit. I am in college so money is kind of a factor. Also, I want to be able to be able to play in my apartment. If I had an acoustic kit, I would probably only be able to play at my parents house. Can someone offer some insight on which to buy?

Reevesy791 Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - "hmm, what's this"lol

stormblazt90 Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - electric.once you start playing you will probably get addicted to it and might want to play all day...(unless you spend more time at your parent's house)
