May 15, 2008 - Visage is one of the first, not the first. . ."Cosmic Cars" was the same year as this track, and Parliament had gone virtually all-synth in by the late 70's not to mention Giorgio Moroder, Kraftwerk, synth disco. . .and Miles Davis's electric turn which brought new ideas of recording and song structure. . .I doubt anyone would have been ready for post-punk and the new romantic sound is it weren't for Bitches Brew and On the Corner. . .but does it really matter?

Jul 21, 2008 - Visage are absolutely brilliant... it would be great if someone could dig out their old copy of their debut single "Tar" because the B-side to that was the original version of this song "Frequency 7" which had robotic vocoder vocals from Steve Strange!!! that would be incredible to hear!!!

Oct 11, 2008 - Wow! been trying to tell people about this one...I am nearly 40 yrs old and remember this one when DJ Mojo in Detroit, MI played this joint when I was a little pee wee back in the day. Just didnt know the name and tried to sing it to explain. No one knew what the hell I was talking about. You had to dig deep deep in the crates for this one. Great Job, Thanks for posting!
bugfish Says:
Oct 15, 2008 - Agreed! The Electrifying Mojo was the coolest and most daring DJ we ever had around here. But he kept getting fired because he wouldn't follow station formats-- the very reason he was so popular.
