Sylmarman Says:

Nov 21, 2008 - Gary, Penn is pointing out simply how much people can be lead in the wrong direction. In same way Obama Supporters have been lead to elect a man that has a slogan such as "change" and not real explaination what change meant? A large percentage of Obama supportesr didn't know that Biden was his VP. Makes on wonder if they knew anythign other than the color of Obama's race?

Springtime916 Says:

Nov 21, 2008 - This is hilarious!

Nov 22, 2008 - I think it's frightening!

athox Says:

Nov 23, 2008 - Just proves they're all tools

freestuffffff Says:

Nov 24, 2008 - Losers."Glassman pulled the same propaganda bs with Zohner's science project as anti-environmentalist Cato Institute shills Penn & Teller do here: misrepresent the fact that most in a RANDOM sample would fall for this prank, including anti-environmentalist shills.""14-year-old Nathan Zohner's 1997 science fair project proving most in a RANDOM sample would fall for this trick, & James K. Glassman's neo-con propaganda essay about it, are the basis for this video. Penn & Teller plagiarize."

fuckinghellyoutwat Says:

Nov 24, 2008 - i'm glad everyone here likes penn and teller, did you see the one where they speak out against the prohibition of cannabis, so they don't just get at hippies but stupidity in all its forms, but this really is inexcusable, dihydrogen monoxide meaning 2 hydrogen atoms and 1 oxygen atom, come on people i wouldn't fall for that even if i was stoned!

penmann22 Says:

Nov 24, 2008 - You have to give the left credit where credit is due. First, they know how to cultivate this kind of stupidity in public schools, and then they also know how to herd the same stupid masses into voting for their agenda.

tonzimala Says:

Nov 24, 2008 - Penn & Teller are copycats. This is a redo of 14-year-old Nathan Zohner's 1997 science fair project & James K. Glassman's Washington Post bizarre, neocon-slanted op-ed piece about it. If Penn & Teller are too cheap to pay their real writers, at least they could mention them. Btw, Zohner's work showed anybody would be fooled by this trick. It was right-wing/corporate apologist Glassman who pasted on the farfetched anti-environmentalist spin, exactly as Penn & Teller do in this idiotic video.

guitarbuildist Says:

Nov 24, 2008 - so what if this is a redo of 14-year-old Nathan Zohner's 1997 science fair project. maybe more people will be informed of this through diffrent means. shouldnt that be a good thing? iv never herd of Nathan Zohner's science fair project, so i wouldnt of know'n if i hadent been lookin for penn and teller:)

s10manual Says:

Nov 24, 2008 - Don't forget the man show getting women to get rid of their suffrage.....

williamtheartist Says:

Nov 27, 2008 - K, now that you sounded off like an idiot...why don't you do a little history and fact finding into who originated this...it wasn't 14 year old Nathan Zohner. Plus, they were making a good point and educating people - so, if your teacher told you that 2+2=4 You would argue that the teacher is a copy cat, because someone else came up with 2+2=4 a long time ago?!?!?! Love your logic - your a real brain child.

gmrple Says:

Nov 28, 2008 - lmao!

funboy7979 Says:

Nov 28, 2008 - Imitation is the sincerist form of ... plagiarism. Well-paid neocon shills like Penn & Teller steal material from teenagers, reflecting the morals of their corporate-fascist masters. Penn Jillette reads his script off the teleprompter in such a way as to give the impression the ideas are his. Fat loser.

BrutusCass Says:

Nov 29, 2008 - There is nothing more dangerous than the ignorance of the mass!

MamiyaOtaru Says:

Nov 29, 2008 - Bullshit. If you were referring to dumb people in the video, "haha, dumb people" would have been perfectly fine. You just got caught being a stereotyping prick and now you're trying to backpedal out of it. You know what you were saying. And so do I![/Astley]

mtheoryrules Says:

Nov 29, 2008 - This is a good point, but to call it common sense is quite a stretch.I doubt I would have made the connection.Sure after the fact di=2 hydrogen mono=1 oxygen.Pen and Teller demonstrate a lesson I think we would all be the better for incorporating into our lives.Be critical, ask question, and do not be afraid to admit that you do not understand. To me I see conscientious people that that simply did not plead ignorance and thus created the opportunity to be made to look foolish.

RapROFLMAO Says:

Nov 29, 2008 - thats kind of sad

funboy7979 Says:

Nov 29, 2008 - Word."Penn & Teller are copycats. This is a redo of 14-year-old Nathan Zohner's 1997 science fair project & James K. Nov 30, 2008 - Why stop there ban Dihydrogen Dioxide ha ha ha. O only the smart literate would know what Dihydrogen Monoxide. Just comes to show you all. You are idiots. I cook in front of people with a big sign in front of me it shows what the ingrediants are to pick from but no all look around that fuckin' sign and ask what do you have there. I'm talking to you. All you Fuckers learn to read and understand what is in front of you.

MikeHawkins Says:

Dec 1, 2008 - lmao, isn't all this Global Trading crap causing "Global Warming" that they keep shoving down our throats?? Why make something in China with no pollution restrictions, then ship it to the coast (using polluting diesel fuels), then load it on cargo ships (polluting the oceans) to ship the Chinese slave goods to our ports to be shipped by diesel trucks across North America to Wal-Marts and every other store?? Making it here would help stop "Global Warming", trade is awful for the environmet!!!!

ex0pos Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - You'd think they were clever enough to think this one up, but the "dihydrogen monoxide" thing goes back years.Bigmouth Penn is such an obnoxious bombastic blowhard anyway...
