Sep 11, 2008 - this series looks the crappiest thing ever watch the film of course this is just my oponion but I could be here all day listing whats wrong with this -.- I watched the movie when I was about 7 my dad bought it for me I was not scared did not understand but enjoyed it watched it again yesterday I absouetly adored it I am 12 now I want the book now and Bigwig is my favourite character in the movie and they give him a mane and Pipkin young??and they started here???

Sep 23, 2008 - Honestly, I feel something close to what I feel when I watch the LOTR movies after reading the books. They're not faithful to the books in many ways, but they are still entertaining to see if you keep your mind open. It's hard, though, for that to happen for this, because of the difference in quality between this and the original book, which was good enough to change the way I thought entirely. That being said, I think I can still enjoy this series, and I'm glad to see the book wasn't forgotten.
