Surely it would be safer if they got all the spectators to watch it from 1000ft ladders and then told the pilots not to fly lower than a 1000ft. That way if a plane is coming towards you, you could run down the ladder under the 1000ft rule. Or alternatively, put each spectator in trenches and then let the pilots reach their beloved 1 foot altitude. Silly fuckers!
