Oct 28, 2008 - I had a c-section on 9/9/08 and I think they said it's something to neutralize the acid in your stomach.

jesuisfancy Says:

Oct 28, 2008 - It didn't hurt as much as I thought it would. It's just a quick pinch and then you feel pressure and a popping sensation as they go through the layers in your spine. They just asked me right after I had my baby if I was planning on bottle or breast feeding. I wanted to try breastfeeding but I really don't think they'd pressure you into it if you really didn't want to.

Oct 28, 2008 - Need more people like you, that have common sense

Flightyrach Says:

Nov 1, 2008 - I do hope you've popped over to the natural birth vids and left scary messages about birth risks over there too... wouldn't want to think you were one of those judgmental types who think us women who have c-sections are somehow more ignorant than you...

mrsmangobabe Says:

Nov 2, 2008 - I just thought this video left out some important information and wanted to add some things to present a more complete picture. It bothers me to see information presented supporting the myth that c-sections are safe and easy when statistics say they're not. If you had all the information available to you and made an informed decision to have a c-section because it was the best option available to you, I totally support your choice, just as I would hope you'd support me if I chose a homebirth.

Nov 8, 2008 - End result? Healthy baby, healthy mama. Giving birth is not test you must either pass or fail. When I had my son many people made me feel like a failure because I didn't go though natural childbirth. With all the hormones coursing through my body at the time, I cried for days...but now I am older and wiser and realize those self-important jerks should mind their own business.

tunapup12 Says:

Nov 8, 2008 - Interesting video. My mother gave birth to me by C-section.

Nov 9, 2008 - my sister had 3 c sections...oww

Nov 9, 2008 - rock on sister!

MizzPerficto Says:

Nov 10, 2008 - c-sections is GODS mercy for women who really need them (reasons stated in video) and safe natural childbirth is GODS blessing ( no pain no gain )

LeleBlazie Says:

Nov 11, 2008 - yeah its very sore afterwards but with labour its over once the childs born

Flightyrach Says:

Nov 13, 2008 - I would neither support nor dissuade you, I'd just think it was none of my business! :)I have had 4 sections, the 4th one was 8 days ago! I'm sorry if I was a bit snappish with you, but I watched this vid to calm myself before surgery, and it helped to see it presented as a straight forward operation. It is very hard to find anything positive about caesareans on the web, as everything seems to have been hijacked by a rather evangelical vbac movement.

Nov 17, 2008 - question:which is better a c-seaction or reg. way and which one would had less pain?

rebeccanms18 Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - c section would be better for when something is the matter. otherwise naturally is suggested.i would have to say naturally would have less pain because once the baby is out the pain should subside and its over but a c section, even though you are under anesthesia you will have day to weeks to recover and from what i heard when you stand it feels like your insides are going to com out or even on fire.

coolcrystal1997 Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - omg im scared to get pregnat now

MargaretHJ Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - so did my mom... ouch!

xxLinzxxB Says:

Nov 21, 2008 - In reply to fantasia's question: it's better to give birth normally if you can. Labour pain MAY be intense, but when the baby is born it stops, whereas after a C section you are still in pain for several days. I know - I've had 4. It's better to have a spinal anaesthetic if you can - you recover faster, can get out of bed sooner, and you don't feel sick either. Afterwards, you cannot eat until you pass wind, in case your bowel is blocked. And the drain removal is painful! Yes, natural is best!

Rizrsniper Says:

Nov 24, 2008 - Hey thats me! Yay! I was 10 pounds when I was born, no wonder.

KiKuShKaKiKa Says:

Nov 25, 2008 - how come they dont open mouth when they are in a belly????if they do open...so is the water coming in mouth???

almalaiya Says:

Nov 25, 2008 - It's beautiful! My baby was born by caesarean section because my Pelvis was very close to the power go out and never thought it was something so beautiful to see him leave, he had seen no Caesarea peropor natural childbirth. Thank you for giving us this novelty in sight!

Alcavexus Says:

Nov 25, 2008 - wow, if I had three babies inside of me...

KiKuShKaKiKa Says:

Nov 27, 2008 - this hurts much more than natural birth...it dosnt hurt when they pull your baby out..it hurts after....

Krystalis4ever Says:

Nov 29, 2008 - is it true that doctors suggest that you only have a c section about three times?

melissaann0410 Says:

Dec 1, 2008 - They should show this video before all c sections...I was in labor for 44 hours and then had to have a c section...It's neat to see what was actually done.
