Sep 7, 2008 - You must not be too bright. People have done comparison videos on the highest-end gaming computers: DX9 Very High hack running on XP vs. DX10 Very High running on Vista. The result: they look EXACTLY the same except for a slightly different tone of ambient lighting (that can be adjusted) and the fact that the DX9 instance had 10 more fps.
