helcat010 Says:
Nov 28, 2008 - Hey I been around a while and have heard lots of great music and been to more concerts than I can probably remember, so I think I know a little somethin' about somethin' and these boys have some real talent. The tight musicianship..and always great lyrics. Got to love Kings of Leon!!!
sammybai Says:
Nov 29, 2008 - they were always gonna become huge dude dont be hateful theyre no1 band on this planet
PortugalTheAccount Says:
Nov 29, 2008 - I'm not 'hateful' because they're huge now, if the hadn't changed their sound so dramatically and still became hugely famous in America (because they've always been big over seas), I would have been so happy. But they sold out to sell more.
Alc5d Says:
Nov 29, 2008 - Ha, so i not sure I would call them sellouts at all... would you call the Beetles sellouts because they changed their sound over the years? the Chili Peppers? In my opinion Because of the Times was a bigger change from Aha Shake Heartbreak than Only By the Night is from Because of the times. And lastly, being from Tennessee, I don't think the driving factor of these Brothers (and cousin) is money. I think their home movies prove they are too down to earth for that.
sammybai Says:
Nov 29, 2008 - I dont think they sold out man i think they just progessed but i see were u come from i irritates me when i see idiots walking around saying there die hard kol fans after they've heard sex is on fire a few times on the radio
PortugalTheAccount Says:
Nov 29, 2008 - You're missing my point, dude. The Beatles and Chili Peppers changed their sound because they wanted to and felt like it was time to experiment with other sounds because their lives had changed from when they were at their initial sound. Kings of Leon SEEMED to have changed just to be more popular in America. THAT'S selling out.
Rachypachey Says:
Nov 30, 2008 - they are beautiful musicians, song writers, 100 percent original talent
Elephame Says:
Nov 30, 2008 - Wow, they sound pretty awesome live. Great song. ^^
Alc5d Says:
Nov 30, 2008 - How did i miss your point, dude?I would have to say that the Kings of Leon's lives have DEFINITELY changed since their initial album came out. So is THAT selling out? I think your more upset with the fact that they are becoming popular in America... And i don't see why people get upset when someone suddenly starts liking a band because of a song!! Isn't that why they write music? And how is Arizona such a different song such as Revelry or Manhattan in style or sound?
julienshawn Says:
Nov 30, 2008 - WOW YEah, get over it everyone, Im a mom of four, just never happened to hear this band, a little sheltered from the music scene I guess you could say... and if I got to hear them because of sex on fire then SO BE IT BABY!! I got to experience these guys and ALL their incredible albums in one big sexy fiery explosion and i love ittt, yeaterdays over my freinds and these guys ROCK...Period :DBlessings :)
julienshawn Says:
Nov 30, 2008 - also they have one, yes one unique beautiful sound....for everyone to enjoy thats all its about :D

holozzz Says:
Dec 1, 2008 - if you are so unhappy about it, why don't you go and write and record songs you like yourself. Sofa critic! awlful excuse for a human.
PortugalTheAccount Says:
Dec 1, 2008 - Nah dude.If their initial sound and image had skyrocketed them to success, i'd be so happy for them.I just don't believe in abandoning everything that made you special to make a quick buck.
Mark96789 Says:
Dec 2, 2008 - This band has not sold out, although the video for Use Somebody doesnt help my point, this
Mark96789 Says:
Dec 2, 2008 - This band has not sold out, although the video for Use Somebody doesnt help my point, they said in an interview they were sick of worse bands getting all the recognition and radio play so they made a more polished record, opposed to recording live, its true that has ment some of thier originality has been lost but now theyve reached more poeple and can carry on making records which is only ever good (Y)
Alc5d Says:
Dec 2, 2008 - So your saying because a bands initial record did not "skyrocketed them to success" they are selling out when the change their sound??And if they are selling out, who do they sound like?? Who are they copying? I thing their music is still something new... how can you hate that?I hate to see bands stuck in a cycle, constantly playing the same songs over and over with different lyrics... I'm happy to see KOL do what every good band does, and evolve...
shineyteeth Says:
Dec 2, 2008 - Mathew's guitar playing is just genius. KOL really are amazzzzzing
kat783 Says:
Dec 3, 2008 - awesome :)
WorrallWhey Says:
Dec 3, 2008 - portugaltheaccount, allyou do is come on KOL vids and complain, you've been doing it for ages, don't you think it's time to grow up and stop trying to piss everyone off.on a lighter note, KOL are the best band around and have been for years. SEEING THEM TWO WEEKS TODAY!! AHH gunna be awesome
Ctbak3r Says:
Dec 3, 2008 - Old or new fans, who cares everyone should enjoy their music. It has such a honest sound to it. its something you dont hear from other bands...ever.
daftmaggie Says:
Dec 4, 2008 - I agree with u, i'm a new fan i knew who they were before but never really listened to their music and now i'm loving it.
julienshawn Says:
Dec 4, 2008 - Kings of Leon toured with Bob Dylan, Pearl Jam and U2, of course their music is going to GROW *not change) a bit as time and experiences go by...duh, who wants to put out 10 of the same record? I love the first as the last and will love KOL till the end of time when we're all singing in heaven :D

ribiniho Says:
Nov 27, 2008 - This song rocks, brings me back to my cambridge days, memories of being ill in bed, having work to be handed in and chilling/dying in bed listening to this!
