Jun 7, 2008 - thats nice, obviously the 9600gt is more powerful than the hd 3850, its almost like an HD 3870 without AA...Anyways, i dont think its too much difference between your card and mine, sicne mine is overclocked to 803/2120, the Vram wud be the bigger advantage.

Oct 18, 2008 - hey man can you possibly tell me whats going on with my rig? every time i play assassins creed, whenever i attack someone, hide, pick up a flag, etc, the game lags for a good 2-3 seconds, then there is no lag. This only started happening a few days ago.My main specs are: Phenom 9850BE 2.8ghz (oc)HD4850 5124ghz RAMXP ProI lowered all specs to minimum, and it does the same shit. Before I can run the game maxed out no problem.Any idea? Should I reinstall? Clean the disk? something?! haha

Oct 18, 2008 - well, it could be many things, i wud recommend u to defrag ur drive, run ccleaner, check for virus/spyware, uninstall drivers, run driver cleaner and install em again, maybe reinstall the game again if it only happens on AC, and ultimately reinstall ur OS.

Oct 18, 2008 - True, but then again, I put the game on my brothers computer, which is the ASUS G50v-A1 laptop, and it was doing the same crap it was doing on my desktop.And whats weird, crysis runs fantastic on all high settings, bioshock, call of juarez, all that crap runs great.

Oct 24, 2008 - about the freezes, sad to say that its normal, its the games bug. all you got to do is create a back up of your saved games then uninstall the game, install it again. there your prob. is fixed. eventually the bugs will appear again,so repeat the process. you'll get use to it.

Nov 16, 2008 - u can copy the saved games wich ussually are in my documents>My games>Assasins creed and from there look for a folder called saved games or something....then u copy the folder or all the files inside that folder.....re-install the game and then u paste the files or the folder.....i have done this many times in other games like crysis,far cry2,world in conflict....and it always worked.
