Feb 23, 2008 - I'm not being a smart-ass here, but if what you say is true, why does diesel fuel look so much dirtier. I mean if you pour a gallon of diesel into a glass container, it looks much dirtier than gasoline.

Feb 27, 2008 - Is it not correct to say that to make gas it has to be refined more than diesel, there is obviously emissions at the refining process, if you were to compare total emissions, created from car burning gas and adding emissions created to refine the gas and compare it to diesel wouldnt that be more fair?

Jan 4, 2008 - Diesels do not emit more pollutants, only the environazis in Kalifornia think they do.They are naturally cleaner than gas engines, only NOx and PM is slightly higher. That's why they are viewed as "dirty".
