I've read that Wesseling learned the role of Rodrigo only within a couple of days in order to replace Genaux. Then having such a success impresses me a lot.Such a pity Rodrigo is not performed more often, there's only one performance this year (in Halle/Germany).I'm going to see Banzo end of May for the 1st time live, if he's only half as good as on the Amadigi CD, I'll be totally fine :-)
