May 8, 2008 - I don't really expect you to believe me, but my brother used to be in this band. They are from Jackson, MS. They used to practice in my living room. I know most of them on a first name basis. Patrick used my dad's equipment when their stuff got stolen in Texas. Now they are playing in Bonnaroo

waaaitwhat Says:

Jun 13, 2008 - lol absolutely believe you. hard to believe these guys came from mississippi, especially when they used to be math rock. but yeah, i used to live in mississippi too and went to a few of FLETCHER'S shows.

Markoy121 Says:

Jul 13, 2008 - How did you record the sound?Camera mic?I love this band!

SkateBrickyard Says:

Jul 18, 2008 - whoa wait a sec, colour revolt used to be mathy? i want to hear this... do you know of any old recordings or info?

waaaitwhat Says:

Jul 19, 2008 - i'll have to ask around. one of my old friends may still have a recording of theirs. but yeah they were big in the southern hardcore/mathcore scene (predominantly hardcore "christian" rock. gay). the one thing i do know is their original moniker was fletcher, and they changed their entire direction (and name) after visiting europe.

humoftheradiator Says:

Jul 24, 2008 - Can't wait until they come to Omaha in September :]

PandaStoleMyPuppies Says:

Aug 14, 2008 - awesome i heard these guys when itunes recommended it from Kevin Devine

jhpeeple Says:

Aug 16, 2008 - sorry, dudez, it was foxxe. if you haven't experienced the thrill of get down padre at the jackson academy halloween carnival you haven't lived. and that wasn't a christian song. it was roman catholic based on a spanish mission. read some willa cather.

jhpeeple Says:

Aug 16, 2008 - and they're from jackson which is more like martha's vineyard than mississippi. excuse me while i comb my thoroughbred

petticoatjunkies Says:

Aug 29, 2008 - Peeples is right. I still have a foxxe sticker on a guitar case, and a copy of the first fletcher ep. I totally remember that show. That's hilarious. Oh, to long for the U-Pub, CLB, Musiquarium, and the like. Things were way easier and more awesome then.

paulmaulz Says:

Sep 6, 2008 - haha, I remeber Fletcher as well, they played at a local venue around here a few times. saw them at bonnaroo too.

mexantexan Says:

Oct 1, 2008 - Just saw the whole band hanging out at the grocery. I asked if they all used the same optometrist ( 4 of them got some crazy ass dork glasses) and where one of them got there sweet ass Willie Nelson jacket (not being sarcastic, its actually awesome). I thought they were just some weird dudes but the bartender told me who they are, thus my being on youtube. They acted a lil pompous, but hell I probably would too if I had talent. Bassist seems the coolest though.

mattattack418 Says:

Oct 2, 2008 - ah i love how dynamic they areone of my favorite bands

boknox Says:

Dec 1, 2008 - you realize the "martha's vineyard of mississippi" doesn't exactly mean it's much like martha's vineyard right?

jhpeeple Says:

Dec 1, 2008 - "more like martha's vineyard than mississippi."pretty good, first time to read?
