Apr 11, 2008 - Nope and if you preload the maps you do not even need a connection. Though a data connection is the main thing as that will pull down the map areas as needed ...

May 12, 2008 - Did you have the problem installing nokia maps 2? I updated to newest n73 firmware which comes with maps1 preinstalled, after updating of clean install of maps2 i can not start application. Any ideas?
