Sep 6, 2008 - I like how boring the dude sounds in the video. Still, that was incredibly informative. Can't wait to transfer from Flash to Toonboom soon.
Force2BRW Says:
Sep 18, 2008 - I believe Flash is better for making things like flash websites, and quick, non complex animations. Whereas Toon Boom is geared more towards creating animated scenes/movies, so it is better if you are just looking to make an animation, but doesn't have the ability to make it into say a working webpage.
Force2BRW Says:
Sep 18, 2008 - i agree with baptistepcarrara, both can do similar things, but toonboom is better at creating complex scenes, whereas Flash is better at putting it all together into a functioning unit (sorry if that doesn't explain what i'm trying to get at)

Oct 8, 2008 - I'm working with Adobe Flash in my CIS class right now, but I'm looking for a 2D animation program for my project. Would Toon Boom be easier in terms of doing something like a characters walk cycle, or should I stick with Flash? (Flash kind of irritates me though).
