May 25, 2008 - sweatjacket...removing the foreskin is NOWHERE near the same as removing a womans clitoris...we lose our ability to enjoy sex at all...men still enjoy it considerably even without their foreskin...just ask my circumsized husband. For the record, I've never condoned male circumcision and wouldn't do it to my son if I had one so don't criticize women you don't even know!

May 26, 2008 - Medical circumcision for females here in the United States is only the removal of the clitoral hood which is much less skin then men loose. Many males cannot receive pleasure after being circumcised because the scar line left after being severed now only sends signals of pain and not pleasure. A friend of mine suffers from this. It's nice to know you would leave your son intact & respect him even though your husband was done. I wish my mother had done the same.

I only wish I could I give to my mom's gentials the same love she gave to mine! when she gave birth to me I hope it hurt like hell. if I ever married a girl this happened to I would be PISSED OFF.why men allow this blows my mind. people who do this, male or female need to have their necks circumcised!

Considering that most men in this country have had it done and are still enjoying the hell out of sex I'd have to agree that there is NO comparison. The equivalent of FGM for a male would to have the end of his penis snipped off and not just some little piece of skin surrounding it.
