Aug 28, 2008 - Family and friends help bring a person back down to earth. I personally think that changing one's name to something which sounds elevated and holy is not such a good idea: even if your intention is to live in "Christ Consciousness" changing your name to "Jesus" could be counterproductive (just my personal opinion). Recognizing that many people have spiritual breakthroughs, and that so many people are simply inherently good, kind and generous. The Ego can accept universality. Time heals the ego.

Aug 28, 2008 - take life as a learning journey, as in we all have to get through all these so to speak tests... I havent heard of kundalini like that since 1998. I mean kundalini in the west has always been seen as sexual energy but you described it as it is, the rising of energy, the learning, the awakening..wow it's so good to hear that again!

dbca999 Says:

Aug 28, 2008 - Awakening Kundalini is not uncommon but getting it to rise all the way upto last chakra(Sahasrar, i guess) on top of the skull is big thing and sustaining it for long enough is the big thing. While it lasts, it is quite a feeling of its own. There are secondary positive effects like when it pierces Ajna chakra it boosts your memory, atleast that's what i strongly believe. But mistakes from unguided practice can cost one dearly. Worldly people should stick to just physical exercises of yoga.

healerteam Says:

Aug 28, 2008 - We're all worldly, world and spirit are one. If the awakened self were considered the natural state then fewer people would fear it. Being born can be uncomfortable, but the only way to avoid the experience is to be stillborn, or never conceived at all. Many worthwhile endeavors contain some risk.I don't mean to argue, but there is too much negative emphasis about kundalini going around. People can make their own decisions but I can't recommend or promote fear of spiritual practice.

Aug 28, 2008 - Ah, but you ARE god, for the 'kingdom of god is within you', quite literally, and indeed everybody else is as well. To exist otherwise is to exist in a state of disconnection.

anutter14ever Says:

Aug 28, 2008 - is it possible to travel your conciousness to contact your conciousness at an earlier time aka time travel ?

healerteam Says:

Aug 28, 2008 - For sure some people have experimented with this.I had a dream once wherein I was contacted by somebody who looked a lot like me (but different) and he gave me some good advice. He seemed to be a future self. My partner Sheryl sometimes advocates sending healing to a younger version of oneself. Personally I tend to stick to more basic spiritual principles/practices these days but I'm an advocate of exploring new possibilities where it may benefit humanity. I think being loving and kind goes far.

sargentpepperoni Says:

Aug 28, 2008 - Hi Paul, Thanks for ur advice so far. I am still practising "I am". Funny thing is when I start thinking something, "I am" comes up evertime and destroys all the stupid chatter in the mind. But not yet sure where it is going though. I have become quite a loner these days but I seem to enjoy the peace anyway. I am constantly trying to delete any idea of a personality in my mind as I know its not true. Right now I am trying to question the fact that I am not my body. Thats a weak point.

healerteam Says:

Aug 28, 2008 - You might consider forming or joining a community of like- minded people in your area, people you trust, or at least one person. What you are doing can be very difficult to do alone and without support. Your path sounds compatible with Buddhism, although the "I am" that you speak of seems more compatible with a deity based religion.

t0mmyd1nkum Says:

Aug 28, 2008 - Wow you and I had very similar spontaneous awakenings...well, mine was brought on differently, but your description of the actual experience really resonates with mine...For me it was like my heart burst into a million pieces; an ultimate 'letting go', and the entire universe immediately filled the space in my heart. Have you heard about the psychic blocks? Perhaps your journey isn't over just yet? The biology of Kundalini is a very interesting site to read more..cheers Paul

healerteam Says:

Aug 28, 2008 - The book and the website don't look like something I could recommend. I don't suppose that my journey is over, no. I've heard of the term "psychic blockages", but with our clients and ourselves we see the process of evolution as a continuum, and also find it necessary to appreciate our inherent perfection regardless of what might be seen as "blockages" or flaws. Sheryl and I use our knowledge and experience to help people but we don't claim to be perfect.

t0mmyd1nkum Says:

Aug 28, 2008 - Paul I reread my message and I think I probably came off differently than was intended. I got distracted as I was trying to comment your vid. I wasn't implying that you didn't have a full kundalini awakening, or that you have 'work' to do of any sort. How pompous would that have been? Much love Paul. Sorry for the miscommunication

sargentpepperoni Says:

Aug 28, 2008 - "I am" is not deity based. Its advaita or non duality. Its nothingness. I am not sure whether I should join a Buddhist society cos I have no interest in meditating on the breath because I am meditating all day whether I am at home or at work. But I will look for something.

healerteam Says:

Aug 28, 2008 - I took no offense at all. Don't worry about it. How pompous would it be if I claimed to be superior to others?

healerteam Says:

Aug 28, 2008 - Thanks for clarifying that.

Aug 28, 2008 - yea you can go back to view your past but can not change it have not tryed it.all i know is think of a place in head with eyes closed think of walking to this place go in think of tv screen and see your past on this if in very deep trance you will be back in past like looking around a wake keep trying this and it should work. but have not tryed this just read in book some wear

Cougar604 Says:

Aug 28, 2008 - This has happened to me a few handfuls of times over the last 3 months or so since ive begun explore my spirituality. Most amazing experience for anybody out there watching. :) I hope everybody gets a chance to have a moment like this in their life. Just for your information, I get them while listening to music, but I am also about music. That is my purpose. So i dont think meditating is a prerequiste for invoking it. Like you guys said with the car crashes I guess lol. Namaste :)

voznow7 Says:

Aug 28, 2008 - I understand this experience.I've had 2-10 with some one being incredibly more profound. The overwhelming feeling of love even if you all alone and have been feeling hate all day, this "kundalini" experience is incredibly powerful.Perhaps its a triggered chemical release in your brain when your body learns to control itself in some particular way.

klrmodelgirl Says:

Aug 28, 2008 - Very accurate and almost exactly corresponding to my experience at age 32 and you explained it very well AAAAA+++ would love to talk to you.

jdogg03infinite Says:

Aug 28, 2008 - I had one and shortly after a large cigar shaped ufo hovered over me on my way to work and scared the hell out of me. It also gave me a nervous break down. It's dangerous.

healerteam Says:

Aug 28, 2008 - I've heard stories of problems from Kundalini rising. I wonder if it would help people to be aware of the connection between consciousness and external reality. If drugs are involved, or other circumstances which force realizations too soon then I could see the stress having dire consequences. When we open to limitless possibility and experience our own divine power we may inadvertantly create a reality that's frightening and overwhelming. I'm sorry it was damaging to you.

vinny1010 Says:

Aug 28, 2008 - Kundalini is not from "Kundalini Yoga". You are so right when you say you HAVE to be ready for it. When people are not, they will think they have gone mad & then they will seek toxic medications (prescrip. drugs) which will make things worse. Ego "breaks down" during meditation b/c it's limited and is an illusion.

vinny1010 Says:

Aug 28, 2008 - Keep in mind that when one has consistent Kundalini Awakenings, they reach the STATE and there is no "experience" after that. When they realize who they truly are (after reaching the state) - they are in the present moment 100% of the times, that is when they know reality from illusion; hence, why enlightened masters call themselves God and try to get others to open up so they can show them how divine they are as well. So calling themselves God is not due to Ego; it is true reality

healerteam Says:

Aug 28, 2008 - Yep. I wrote a blog called "What's all this about meditation?" I can't link it here but you can google it. I discuss this aspect of the ego in the blog. The ego is sort of like an elected representative of the self; sometimes you want to vote to impeach. The ego can serve well as a function of the greater good unless it gets confused about what should truly motivate actions eh? The right tool for the job is sometimes a blunt instrument. It serves a purpose of holding together the persona.

healerteam Says:

Aug 28, 2008 - If I follow this correctly you are illustrating the "still point" of undifferentiated consciousness in contrast to a more common, separate awareness. Yes, remove the boundary of the individual self and one experiences this "oneness" with all that is. You're right it's not egotism, and some would alternately describe it as a peaceful, blissful "nothingness." Same thing in that state; the infinite and the non-existent and all points between are the same. Well said and thanks for your comments.
