Oct 20, 2008 - Remedios Varo was born after her family lost a dauther and that is why they named her "remedios" as a "remedy" for their pain, therefore she felt that she never had a place in her family but came to replace a lost dauther, that is why most of ther paintings are selfportraits and reflect all her moods and inner thougths, she is magical, one of my favourites by far !GH
