Oct 3, 2008 - sorry man,you are wrong- yes people get music from other times and places, but taking entire songs is another thing- black artists didn't steal the blues, they wrote the blues and were influenced by a variety of other music.I love zep- but they took credit for songs they did not write and have since given credit to the writers of those songs- now, this will kill you.they ripped off the entire beginning rif of stairway to heaven from a guy named randy califoria from spirit the song taurus

Oct 4, 2008 - People are people. Black, White, Brown, Purple... yada yada yada Music is universal, there is no colors of skin behind instruments and voices. Just timeless art.

Oct 5, 2008 - They were just a band... so what they performed other people songs, they didn't originally give credit but did after the fact it was made into a big deal. I really don't care where The songs came from. I haven't studied Zeppelin History that much. I just don't want to hear a bunch of BS about white people "stealing " black music, and black culture, blah blah holding black people down. I think it's a bunch of racist shit

Oct 16, 2008 - sometimes i think you can sound black when you play the blues...like theres white blue and black blues, and some white guys can sound black, which i admire more...but thats just my opinion

Oct 18, 2008 - frank Zappa is awesome! I don't like david letterman tho...his interview with marilyn manson sucked ass.

Oct 23, 2008 - zappa is the man, letterman is a predictable tool. the more things change.....
NyeTunes Says:
Oct 24, 2008 - I understand why he wanted to add new elements to the deteriorated albums (listen to, I think, "Mom and Dad" on the unremixed 'Money' CD to hear just how awful they sounded); but he didn't actually make them sound legit. Everything sounds so cheesy and Eighties-ish. Which is, I guess, why people hated them...
pappsmeere Says:
Oct 24, 2008 - ya..look at how young Letterman looks ...yet Zappa will always be timeless!
fundy76 Says:
Oct 25, 2008 - Seems like Dave bombed with Frank at the end there with the handshake haha.i wonder if nowadays a studio audience member can still put out a stray clap like that?awesome!

Nov 29, 2008 - Letterman and Schafer were fans somewhat of Zappa. Letterman often had Hunter S. Thompson on those days as well. The show was going for the late night stoner crowd. As Conan's people do today.
