Just think about the invention of the car, or the mp3 format ;) And look how many german managers work at international combinations... They do not speak german an work ;) And one last thing... it is sad to hear that everything here in Germany is in German, i mean this itypical American arrogance... Im from north-europe, we're all bilingual (we also speak english, OMG)I do give a shit about culture but i hate retards who are not intelligent enough to learn a new language. Go dub a movie or something. German schools DO suck, they're pretty much the worst in europe (with Spain). Your kids can only speak one language, your skills in math/physics are on the same level as our 10 year olds...
