Aug 31, 2008 - good spotting! yes Spirit had a severe ear infection when younger and despite intensive treatment with baytril and prednisone for 2 months was left with a permanent head tilt even when infection had cleared up. Spirit passed away at 3.5 years old about 6 months ago. RIP sweet Spirit.

One couch, one loveseat, two mattresses, a section of carpeting and 5 sets of Egyptian cotton sheets later and she's discovered that our other border collie's ear is her favorite toy.

Sep 14, 2008 - Actually, it's more like New Fa Land.You have to be careful with the term "Newfie" as well. Some Newfoundlanders think of it as an insult. I, for one, do not and am proud to be called a Newfie :)
