May 29, 2007 - wow looks good :) is it a self-made model or a construction kit?
Tiger332 Says:
May 29, 2007 - Thanks, it's basically a construction kit but with a fair amount of self made detail parts added. The kit is supplied by Armortek here in the UK.
luuko656 Says:
Jun 3, 2007 - does the kit also includes a dumy engine?
Tiger332 Says:
Jun 4, 2007 - I have a dummy engine which is available from another supplier, on my particular model I use the engine compartment to house the two 12v drive batteries. When in static mode the batteries can be swapped with the dummy engine.

Jun 30, 2007 - right... nice model man!one question: does a halftrack steer by turning its tracks in opeside direction or just with the front wheels??
Tiger332 Says:
Jul 2, 2007 - Hi Luuko656, The majority of the time the front wheels are used to steer the halftrack but when the going get's tough the tracks can be used to brake steer the vehicle much like a fully tracked tank. This is exactly the same set up as per the full size machine used in WWII.
luuko656 Says:
Jul 2, 2007 - okay thanks ive always wondered!
noel2x Says:
Jul 27, 2007 - you are 1 lucky person!you have a great halftrack model ang even a greater dad to help you build it.

Aug 17, 2007 - im finking of getting the next tank they release. the price tag is very steep.did u paid £1500 ? woz it worth it?
Tiger332 Says:
Aug 17, 2007 - The next tank is the late Tiger and it's very much worth it, they are certainly built to last. They might seem expensive but when you consider the amount of bespoke parts which need to be produced and the limited quantities, they are actually great value for money.

Nov 17, 2007 - Time lapse really does offer a true account of what efforts it takes in the garage before the real fun begins.

Dec 7, 2007 - I would love to do this kind of stuff but do you have to like wire it and everything cause if so I couldnt do it,not good with wireing
EvilFingers Says:
Jan 13, 2008 - Tiger332, have you ever tought about building a Gas Powered Tank or Half Track, it would certainly be more Realistic than using a small battery as its main power supply?

Mar 15, 2008 - Amazing Vehicle, Amazing model - Amazing Team! Well done, 2 days! It is my dream to build and own such a model one day!
ghostridermjs Says:
May 14, 2008 - I bet that was two very long days. The best I can do with 1/35th is four days.
DCMclarenFan Says:
Jun 15, 2008 - yes, but alot more troublesome. Gas RC is mostly unreliable and much less effecient compared to electric power. Besides, you can add a sound module and exhaust anyways.GAS SUCKS

Aug 21, 2008 - Nice job I want to buld the 88mm gun but its to expensive for me. Gues ill stick with those 1/35 scale models.
