Recycling paper does not save trees as trees are grown in farms for the singular purpose of meeting our paper demands. The more we waste the more they produce. Landfils also produce energy. Aluminum and other metals are the only useful ways to recycle. Check out Penn and Teller's episode of Bullshit! on the matter. It is here on youtube.
