But it caused everything that was blocked to flow again, which was mostly dead muscle cells. This causes IMMENSE pain and agony, so much so that he had to be put into a coma. This was when Stacy made the decision to cut away the area where the muscle had died, however there was always the risk that he would still experience pain. Which he ovbously does, so he takes excessive amounts of vicodin.
