We have a difference of opinions.I am all for black pride and power but at the same time, you have to recognize the problems within the race and the fact that some black people do choose to blame their problems on other races is not fiction but fact.

Nov 19, 2008 - You are the one who is being closed minded to the fact that there is a problem within the race with blaming others and not taking credit for our own mistakes and problems. Instead of just debating about this, there should be a solution or a way to work towards a solution. I do my part all the time, volunteering with young black men and women whose parents are in prison, domestic violence cases, NAACP, Big Brothers/Sisters, etc. Fact still remains the blame game need to end.

I think there are alot that need to be focused on such as why it is ok for a black person to use the N word versus other races or how black women are exploited in the entertainment (video) business or the structure of "some" black families how & what it means when the father figure is not around.

But after he won, some of the same people who said they were inspired went back to their deviant behavoir, that weekend killings an everything happen. I understand this is a living for many women but pride and dignity is worth more to me than any amount of money. You do not see the women being demoralized in a Maroon 5 video or Garth Brooks video.
