Aug 29, 2008 - the beauty of body shots is that they don't have to have an immediate effect, but the weaken fighters over the course of the fight. It could have something to do with why Ali said he felt close to dieing at the end of the 14th in this fight. You're a fool if you think Ali wasn't feeling the effects of those body-shots... even tho i do agree with you that Ali was as close to being immune to body shots as a fighter can get.

Aug 29, 2008 - WTF? Europeans fought many heavyweight bouts at that time. And Ali and Foreman had the pleasure of disposing of many of the European champs. Although, props to Henry Cooper who knocked down Ali in one of their fights and had him badly hurt (both his losses to Ali were due to cuts to the eye)

Aug 29, 2008 - Of course I don't mean Ali didn't feel the effect of those shots. However, most of them were on the SIDES, since Ali technically covered up that way. I believe that was what was "killing" him.

Aug 29, 2008 - funny u never see the frazier lovers comment on the numerous low blows by frazier in each round of every fight they had, esp this one. he was only even warned once or twice. he should have had points deducted each round. joe never won a single round really.
