Jul 17, 2007 - Never taken a Picnic as such, but spend hours there sometimes a whole day. Just watching and listening and pondering and the usual things. Its best early morning and late evening, not many humans around then hehe

Jul 17, 2007 - I thought it would be nice to see a fun side of feeding them. Usually we break it up into small pieces. This time I put a couple of slices down and let them at it haha. Next time, I am going to put a full loaf down.

Jul 18, 2007 - Those little ducks running around with more than their share are so funny. Yes, Phil, I remember Mr. Loudmouth well and I must say that your British version is a much more refined young gentleman in every way. (Then again, his American cousin was dining on the hardtop of a McDonalds parking lot with the handy dumpster nearby...who could expect much more from him?) He was beautiful but obviously lacking in the social graces...but he sure got alot of french fries!
Zoltrix67 Says:
Jul 19, 2007 - Hahaha Do you still see him and give him more fries ?
ImiteB Says:
Jul 19, 2007 - He lives on the west coast of Florida and I live on the east coast. I looked for him 2 weekends ago and he was out kicking around somewhere with all his cronies. I was truly disappointed but I suppose I should have called first before just showing up! French fries are always better when there is some feathered friend to share them with.
Zoltrix67 Says:
Jul 19, 2007 - Its amazing how they adapt to the ever changing world. What once were trees are now houses and they nest in the strangest of places. You have to admire them, I know I do.
ImiteB Says:
Jul 19, 2007 - Yes, my daughter had a mourning dove make a nest and raise young right up in her front outdoor foyer ceiling. It was awfully cute to watch but kind of sad, just the same.
Zoltrix67 Says:
Jul 19, 2007 - It is sad, but then again, she got to see the cute thing all the time. Until it departs.

Jul 22, 2007 - LOL how cute the ducks share.Looks like they are playing catch me if you can. LOLAre the 2 ducklings late bloomers or did she have a 2nd hatch?Great Video PhilHUGGS
Zoltrix67 Says:
Jul 22, 2007 - They are her second batch. She had 6 originally, in this video only two remain, now she only has the one.
