As an Iranian I love Armenians for our culture is so entertwined. The Love stories Like Romeo and Juliett, the Love stories of the King of Persia and the Queen of Armenia... and more. Jivan took me back to thousands years back and with sadness I felt enriched.

Aug 28, 2008 - ...but since Hovsepian has been dead for over 20 years, I think we can make do with Gasparyan nicely. No one can touch Hovsepian's "Hovern Engan" however. He's the only performer I've heard go down to the lower register (5 fingers on top and 4 on bottom) in the middle of the tune. Exquisite!

They are very smart artistic and educated.But I have never heard of any wars between Persians and Armenians. can you tell me about it? If you mean the ghajar invasion of caucus, they were turks ruling Iran and not Persians. As long as I know Persians and Armenians have always been friends and actually they are very much respected among people in Iran.
