Aug 29, 2008 - Great clip, Dr Taylor is really quite the musician. Chip Jackson and I played in local rock bands together when we were just seeds, he was always a few steps up on us. He was a fine friend and a great talent ,I have not seen him in several years now, it's great to see the clip.

Aug 29, 2008 - Nice tune. I don't think I've heard much of Billy Taylor. Chip Jackson and Steve Johns make a good team.

Aug 29, 2008 - I had opportunitty to study with Dr.Taylor. What a priveledge and honor it was. His stories, his knowledge, his sense of touch and emotion are second to none. Its a shame more people do not know who he is. I also had the opportunity to study with Chip, Gerri Allen, and Dr.Taylor at Jazz in July at UMass Amherst several years ago. Fantastic tune...I have a HAND written copy from Dr.Taylor himself. That is now a family heirloom as far as I am concerned.

Aug 29, 2008 - everything is amazing except the filmer. Why the hell would the camera not be facing someone who is soloing. During most of the drum solo the camera isn't even on the drummer.

Aug 29, 2008 - He has the biggest pair of glasses in jazz. I also heard he has the biggest heart, and in my opinion he is one of the best jazz pianists that ever lived!
