Dec 15, 2008 - It can be interpreted as the "death of God" in society as more and more people are drifting towards agnosticism and atheism.
McNugget06 Says:
Dec 16, 2008 - I think it describes more that god is a man made idea as well. Anyone can make a superstitious belief about existence. The idea has been interpreted so many ways that it can be per sieved as dead.

Dec 17, 2008 - this song makes my asshole tingle with delight.
Manther69 Says:
Dec 17, 2008 - It's not that people are drifting towards atheism and agnosticism or secularism: spirituality seems ubiquitous in contemporary zeitgeist. He's drafting Nietzsche's principles regarding the traditional "God Image" (Abrahamic religions) enabling you to rethink your entire structure of culture and being.

Dec 19, 2008 - This song is about confronting and questioning Christianity. The lyrics describe how Christianity is used to control people and how it contradicts itself: "His perfect kingdom of killing, suffering and pain demands devotion atrocities done in his name." I Fu*kin dig this song much tho!!

Jan 3, 2009 - "God is dead,And no one cares,If there is a hell,I'll see you there."Well... need I say more?
vikingraid33 Says:
Jan 3, 2009 - Good. More people should get their head out of their asses and realize that God is fake.

Jan 4, 2009 - God this song makes me want a minimoog soo bad! That bassline screams moog.
lovezchoclabs Says:
Jan 5, 2009 - Watch the religion part of "Zeitgeist". There is so much proof that Christianity is untrue. Even if it was all real, I think I'd rather go to hell. Religion just causes fucking problems, like war.
TheSamsquanch Says:
Jan 6, 2009 - I cant think of anything else that represents INDUSTRIAL more then this and happiness in slavery
newolowa Says:
Jan 6, 2009 - Thats a really bad argument. There are also movies and documentaries on 9/11 conspiracies and how the moon landing was faked. Does that mean straight away that what they say is the truth?!I just googled zeitgeist after making the above statement, and look what wikipedia has to say on the movie "...Jesus myth hypothesis, the attacks of 9/11, and the US Federal Reserve Bank. A number of conspiracy theories and staggering world visions are presented"A LOAD OF CRAP!
lovezchoclabs Says:
Jan 6, 2009 - They also said Jesus walked on water in the bible. Yet, you don't believe in something more realistic, but hey, to each his own.
lovezchoclabs Says:
Jan 6, 2009 - Anyway, it's just a song. Get over it, and I don't want to talk about religion. It's kind of pointless, and I wasn't trying to make an argument. I have better things to do.
newolowa Says:
Jan 6, 2009 - You talk some CRAP.
Zantheon Says:

Ninja666999 Says:
Jan 8, 2009 - I think that this song is talking about all religions (the main one Christianity)...they are all based on human fear...the people that are afraid of death make up superstitions too help deal with death...but people take it way too far, and forget what is real and fake...life and death are one in the same, death should be celebrated the same way life is...but people are too afraid to give up their earthy goods, so they make up an afterlife...and he is making fun of it, which is a good point
