Oct 19, 2008 - Oh I'm the idiot? Well On your channel it says you are a Brit. If you are a Brit and you like this movie you are a complete fool. Because it doesn't follow British History whatsoever. And you should be ashamed.

sonho1234 Says:

HistoryGirl345 Says:

Oct 31, 2008 - saything that I do think you're an idiot. I am a brit and I am not ashamed of this movie and I shouldn't be, year it doesn't follow the legends...big fucking deal there are plenty of movies that do and this a twist on the legend and an enjoyable one to watch. I like the fact that Guinevere is a trong intelligent warrior in this film instead a damsel in distress as she is usually shown as. Many historical films have inaccuaries, sometimes things have to be changed.

rajayuca Says:

Oct 31, 2008 - the saxons aint got nothing against the woads!! woads kick ass!!!check merlim at 2:55 sticking his tongue out!! fucking owns!!!!!!!!!!i got so hyped up at that part, i started doing push-ups............ lol

Kozhanasyr Says:

Nov 7, 2008 - Acording to the movie those guys were nomads from the Great Steps of Central Asia, the Sarmats or Savramats tribe that inhibited land north to the Caspian Sea. Actually my ancestors

scotstownque Says:

Nov 9, 2008 - They had to turn Guinivere into a fembo, didn't they? What a bore. 21st century cinema.... Movies today are shit.

scotstownque Says:

Nov 9, 2008 - God help us if the people responsible for this flop ever attempt a re-make of Ivanhoe...

nowaterforhim Says:

Nov 10, 2008 - A feeble attempt at de-fictionalizing an artfully told tale.Mallory must be spinning in his grave.Stick with 'Excalibur', folks.

balrog13571 Says:

Nov 10, 2008 - I don't know why people seem to hate this movie so much. It's as realistic as the story could get. Plus it's better compared to the wannabe King Arthur movie that came out in 2007 "The Last Legion". Sure it's based off a good book, but the movie SUCKED! Not even the battles were cool! This actually had a pretty good cast, music, choice of location, and costuumes. Sure it's not perfect, but it's pretty good. The Director's Cut is better though. WAAAAAAAAY more character development and fighting!

AnaksBane Says:

Nov 11, 2008 - The saxons made britain hense, the term anglo saxon. In truth Britian is made of most major european tribes. Norse, franks, Saxons celts, picts, gaels and latins. Thats why perhaps they became a world empire. That and the King James Bible. ( pls keep your hate to a minimum, there may be children reading, LOL!)

olpap53 Says:

Nov 12, 2008 - yea we know all that .... high school history and all that. this movie was THE LOVE STORY of all time. that blue chik blew my skirt plum up. i finally found one like that BUT she tooo, had a "hidden agenda"". figures. so she got invited not to come around anymore ..... DAMMIT....

olpap53 Says:

Nov 12, 2008 - :(}}}}}}}}

gferrie123 Says:

Nov 16, 2008 - oh yes- "excalibur"- an arthurian tale, set in the dark ages, where all the knights wear shining full plate 15th century armour, about 600 years before it was designed, and all live in late medieval castles. Much more realistic......NOT!!!!

gferrie123 Says:

Nov 16, 2008 - Beautiful song, beautiful voice.Quite right DaLeerius, film had a mediocre response at the cinema, personally i think it deserved better.

nowaterforhim Says:

Nov 16, 2008 - 'Excalibur' was the closest thing to the legend. This version was merely a cheap attempt at non-fiction, and, as we fans of Atrhurian literature well know, King Athur was anything but. Read Mallory sometime, if you haven't already....

themightyscythe Says:

Nov 17, 2008 - What i found so spooky was that Guinevere looked so like the modern day Hollywood actress Kiera Knightly, has anyone else noticed this , and can they explain it.
