Nov 21, 2006 - How does a guru reply to Lao Tsu's great dictum? "He who knows doesn't say, he who says doesn't know."

miahnath Says:

Feb 2, 2007 - Lao Tsu most not know since he says so much

ilpoj Says:

Apr 20, 2007 - When he doesnt say he knows, and when he says he doesnt know?

MASTERASOKA Says:

GuruSwamiG Says:

May 12, 2007 - it takes a longer explaination than may be given in this comment box. do you really want to know ? then post your question at the new Yahoo group Swami-G

N0NEthewiser Says:

Jun 6, 2007 - A guru surrenders the pure essence of gnosis the moment s/he decides to reciprocally relate. This is the very paradox a guru must accept...wise is the fool who persists in his folly...while ultimately, and as ridiculous as it sounds, sorengama once said "He who Knows, knows nothing. He who knows nothing, Knows."

chittavrittinirodha Says:

Jul 29, 2007 - there is a simple truth in this video, so simle that he who dont´n realise it, will never understand, even when it´s heard many times

faithrada Says:

Sep 18, 2007 - AAhhh but spontaniously through the Grace of THE Guru. THE Guru is not simply a physically manifest form, THE Guru is a principle. Only the Supreme Guru has the power to awaken and reveal that the Guru and Disciple are ONE. Sometimes THE Guru is manifest but sometimes not. Santih, Faith

Nov 21, 2007 - The only yoga that matters is karma yoga.

WhiteSage777 Says:

Nov 24, 2007 - better without a guru :)

elshisu Says:

Dec 25, 2007 - There is nothing that cannot be undestand after hearing it 108 times. The simple truth that he is talking, can be grasped, easily or hardly. That makes no difference, except in time. But to understand and grasp something, doesnot mean you have it.Be eager to understand, then drop everything you have understood. Because that is the simple truth they all talk about: stop looking, be present, drop beliefs, be quiet, be joyfull inside, discard worries.

stillanego Says:

Dec 27, 2007 - Well according to that dictum Lao Tsu himself doesn't know. So, does Lao Tsu know or not? I think he was simply saying, some people are bullshitters. not all, some. The guy in the middle seems cool, the other two are talkers.

stillanego Says:

Dec 27, 2007 - Were Lao Tsu and Sorengama friends? Better listen to Swami G than to any books or even these guys. She Knows.

stillanego Says:

Dec 27, 2007 - Yes but can you make it happen or do you wait around and hope that it happens spontaneously. You'll never know. Better to seek out your Satguru with an open heart. When you meet Him or Her you will know what to do. I did when I found my Satguru. You'll relax about the whole search for enlightenment because you'll see that that very search is your suffering.

swamidurchananda Says:

Jan 3, 2008 - very nice words and very nice dress

hdavy2002 Says:

Jan 21, 2008 - why do white people listen to white gurus or white pastor? Why does the crowd never comes when there is a black preacher or an Indian guru. I find that funny it very funny. A white American teaching yoga makes sense, but an Indian teaching yoga does not make sense. Weird world.

OctoBox Says:

Feb 25, 2008 - white people's mind is hard-wired by culture and white people better understand their own culture. if a person is born for the first time in the west, even if he is white he will naturally want the cultural hard-wire of the eastern perspective. this is very natural, it is not racist it is comfort and ease of translation and cellular cultural acceptance. when yogananda came to the west, white people were turned away by the thousands during his public lectures and this was in the 20's/30's/40's

Bukunra Says:

Feb 26, 2008 - why do you even notice trivial events, let it go and just be!

intelite Says:

Mar 11, 2008 - Don't be silly. I'm white and I listen to gurus, shamans from Africa, south America, everywhere. Why do you only perceive such untruth? :O

Bhaktaraja108 Says:

Apr 3, 2008 - hey Hdavy2002..Doesn't matter WHAT COLOR..let go of your "color" attachments...

Magik1369 Says:

Apr 28, 2008 - Very well said.

wickedfriendss Says:

May 25, 2008 - Don't argue abt black & white this something everybody cant have it... kundalini is true but... many people r just making money frm it... n thy really dnt knw anything abt it... only few have awaken this power and believe me they r not in youtube or in book.... this power is unexplainable... may be just for me ... lol best of luck all

PoidHater Says:

May 27, 2008 - It's not really about color, it's about Western vs Eastern world. Westerners in general don't really know what they're talking about when it comes to spirituality; Western society inherently depends on the rejection of spiritual ideals, whereas Eastern society generally revolves around it.

SilkieJade Says:

May 30, 2008 - I've heard him speak before and was very impressed.
