Aug 29, 2008 - Actually, it is not normal. The level of body fat in elite sports such as gymnastics is so low that it delays the onset of puberty in most competitors. This results in primary amenorhea, which in turn can lead to problems down the line such as osteoperosis. Yes, they are fit, they are beautiful, but they in NO WAY represent normal development in pre-pubescent girls.

Aug 29, 2008 - She does really look like her (maybe she becomes a good gymnast, but please give her a fair score!) but Alina was always overscored, if u look technically to her routines it isn't a good routine.don't get mad, but i think its good that Alina retired, the other gymnasts can get a chance on a gold medal too (like Zhukova did at the olympics)
