Sep 5, 2008 - This fight was very exciting. I am a Ruddock fun! Thank you so much for posting it Rchunah. You're posting great stuff!

Odawg96 Says:

Sep 5, 2008 - Yeah...I had been following Ruddock for a couple of years by this time, but I actually thought of him as more of a boxer up to this point. After this, I was thinking "This guy'll be able to beat Tyson in a couple of years." Close...but not cigar; Buster Douglass got the cigar first, anyway.

Sep 5, 2008 - Scored a lucky punch versus Frank Bruno in the 80's. Frank was leading by eons 'till that last round lapse. Smith's corner ought to have pulled him out 60 secs before the finale.

Sep 5, 2008 - NO he Knocked Frank Bruno out cold.He exposed him as a pretender. He also ko' Witherspoon and Weaver .What a British Bum.Bruno was a figment of your media!

magicktorch Says:

Sep 5, 2008 - Well, when he fought a PRIME Tyson, he lasted a helluva lot longer than yer American contenders of the time, with the exception of Tony Tucker. And he SHOULD of finished Tyson in the 2nd of that fight. Tyson was seeing 3 Brunos for about 30 seconds. Frank was no ring-master(duh), but he deserves way more respect than you give him. But you're a typical American who slings insults about like confetti. WBC Champion a figment? Unlikely you'll ever understand...

ojsucksit Says:

Sep 5, 2008 - Yeah like British comedy!

magicktorch Says:

Sep 5, 2008 - A sense of humour requires intelligence, or you will end up laughing at Frasier or Seinfeld.

Sep 5, 2008 - Bruno was very strong, very powerful. Lennox Lewis was scared of his power. But, his chin let him down.

LennoxLewis86 Says:

Sep 5, 2008 - Buster Douglas beat PRIME Tyson and Ruddock had a better chance of beating Tyson then Bruno.. Ruddock just used his signature move too much but had more talent then Bruno.. Bruno was a smart boxer with overall good skills but he didn't have the exceptional skills like superior power or speed to become a real champion!

methodandmadness Says:

Sep 5, 2008 - Ruddock is the man.

Sep 5, 2008 - I didn't get to see this fight, but I do remember that Bonecrusher came in heavier than usual in his weight. His normal weight was about 230lbs. This fight he was about 250 or so.
