Oct 18, 2008 - Unfortunately, no. Corn starch has the property that under pressure, it will bond with water molecules. Most other powders either dissolve in water, or just become sludge. On the positive side, you can buy around 4 cups of corn starch for under a buck. Next time you are at WalMart, pick some up :)Thanks for your interest!
