Many of the foreign doctors are educated in foreign lands, not in American medical schools. American doctors have first hand knowledge of socialism. They get paid peanuts from the government and more and more people are qualifying for medicare or medicaid. They also have to accept what insurance considers fair payment and they are WAY off.

Oct 29, 2008 - As you implied we have more and more foreign doctors coming to the US because they do the work cheaper but are making a fortune compared to their own countries. They are not educated in the US and although I have found Indian doctors to be excellent, I can't say the same for all foreign doctors. American people do not understand that the medical community is changing and it's mostly due to the governments involvement in telling doctors what they are allowed to charge and accept as payment.

My grip is that people from other countries use America to get rich and then leave. If they would stay here and call this country home like the immigrants did in the past it would not be an issue.

Oct 30, 2008 - Um...they dont go back. There are 2nd and 3rd generation Asians (not just Indians) living in America. Sure they immigrated here only a few decades ago for better opportunity...but so did the Italians, Germans Irish and English. Indians VISIT India a lot...but they dont really go back to live there (frankly there isnt much room to go back)
