Jun 19, 2008 - Good vigorous debates are good, yes. But make no mistake about it, Russert was a media elitest and his so called tough questionswere nothing of the kind. He was as most in jounalism today are, a puppet. Not to mention a jesuit. That being said, I wish his family well.Tne Movie by Aaron Russo, Freedom to Facsim, should be seen by all freedom loving Americans.

Jun 21, 2008 - That was a really good interview, I'm glad I watched it again. I remember when I first saw it when it aired I felt bad for Ron Paul after, but now that I have seen it all these months later, I see how well he explained things, good job Dr Paul and thanks Tim for asking some good questions

MMadmike Says:

Jun 21, 2008 - The first time I saw it I thought Dr Paul mopped the floor with Tim. Like always at first I was cringing then after a while I noticed Dr Paul not even flinching when answering. As uaual all his answers made perfect sense. Such a treat listening to Dr Paul. He has too much experience in debate to lose.

Jul 1, 2008 - I would say this was hands down the most lively Meet The Press interview with Tim Russert. I know there have been hot moments before but this was a completely philosophical debate, and it seems Tim tried his hardest to contradict, with every single question...and Ron Paul stood his ground and answered everything with accuracy with equal energy. It was also a highly unique interview being there were no commercial breaks and an extended interview, the producer must have known this is good tv.

Joe402 Says:

Jul 2, 2008 - Wow Ron Paul got OWNED.

Joe402 Says:

Jul 2, 2008 - Typical Ron Paul supporter.

mutedmajority Says:

Jul 2, 2008 - What's there to support? Typical idiot.

mutedmajority Says:

Jul 2, 2008 - Yeah and your voice will be heard that way ROFLMAO. You can spend your life trying to fix it, I say just pursue happiness however you want. Any law that comes in your way, DISOBEY. I am all for dead cops, they are criminals with victims. Who can protect us from them?

Joe402 Says:

Jul 2, 2008 - "he got what he deserves"He deserved death?

mutedmajority Says:

Jul 2, 2008 - That's right!

Joe402 Says:

Jul 2, 2008 - This IS the internet afterall so I'm not that surprised by that response.

mutedmajority Says:

Jul 2, 2008 - And I'm not surprised that you think that those who derail the USA's best path, and support their ivy league shoe ins should be disregarded and unchallenged. He was not a good curator of the power vested to him. Nauseating you are.

Jul 18, 2008 - Ron Paul owned tim. ot the other way around.

KingSolomon1611 Says:

Jul 19, 2008 - Russert faced a similar grilling then was cast into hell. Russert wasn't "elect"ed for eternal life.

phlashphil Says:

Jul 29, 2008 - BECAUSE HE REPRESENTS !!!

CJLKAS Says:

Aug 11, 2008 - You have the concept correct, only you are not thinking it through properly. Corporations DO run on profits and if and when they offer an unsafe, overpriced, or less than quality product, consumers will no longer buy that product. That is how the market (consumers) regulate big business.

CJLKAS Says:

Aug 11, 2008 - If you want to see how we would fare with a Government controlled National Health Care System, look at the Veterans Administration. Give me free market medicine any day.

Elasaltaculos Says:

Aug 11, 2008 - That is what pisses me off of Republicans today. Whatever a some republican public official does is viewed as "conservative".

Elasaltaculos Says:

Aug 11, 2008 - well said, very well said. Albeit I must admit that Russert annoyed me, he was doing what an interviewer is supposed to.

SJMarie Says:

Sep 6, 2008 - I'm not a republican, but I would be embarrassed to be one. I wish Ron Paul would clean up the party. I wish he succeeds eventually. The Republicans are hypocrits now.

dick117 Says:

Sep 30, 2008 - Too bad he's getting too old. He's already 72, I hope someone continues on with his views.

Nov 15, 2008 - Absolutely chewed up and spit out Tim Russert. RIP Tim, nothing personal.

Gangularis Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - free market medicine, any day? without regulation? Do you have any idea how much a free market medical industry would love to jack up prices and over charge you for ridiculous procedures you don't even need, just to make a thousand dollars? They already do this today.. both extremes don't work.. we need a free market health care system, but it NEEDS to be regulated so that greed and profits are not a tremendous priority over ethics. Health is about life or death, not free trade.
