Apr 29, 2008 - He started at the toe because when you start at the toe you can cut up to the heels and then you get a cleaner smoother trim,as far as rasping you start at the toe and go across the toe then you trim from the heel down.I have to disagree with you,this farrier is a good farrier you can tell by the smoothe trim and clean fast cuts that he is good.

Oct 8, 2008 - I agree that this is a good shoer. He balanced the foot and did not cut where the foot had naturally worn. he is adept with thise expensive nippers. i done this for 43 years so my opinion should account for something mates.
