Sep 7, 2008 - wow. Marilyn Manson scared the shit of O'Reilly. So that's how one could make him behave like a polite normal human being.
sillydillydokieo Says:
Sep 7, 2008 - i couldn't have said it better myself. he is a genius.
blaisebob Says:
Sep 7, 2008 - Why does he keep asking if things are 'necessary'? Art has no responsibility to social causes. Troglodyte.
Mephtral Says:
Sep 7, 2008 - Tell me, in what way does Marilyn mansons music encourage anyone to kill themselves or anyone else? .. never.. if you actually listened to it you would understand that..MM named himself after 2 people that were famous for 2 different things, he used parts of 2 big names , the "good" side and the "bad" side..Charles manson and Marilyn monroe.. Please tell me you knew that.... Ignorant people seem to forget where the "marilyn" in his name came from..
Kirkh666 Says:
Sep 7, 2008 - that was great...he answered all the questions with politness and good explanations+the jesus thing at the end was a punch in bill's face!fuck you bill, you always try to correct people! watch in the mirror once
Xirus5 Says:
Sep 7, 2008 - well.. i was a follower of his music trough my teenage years and ye it had an inpact on me good or bad im not really sure.. i was kinda angry in those years = listening to angry music = getting pumped up.. i did use the music and anger into working out insted of doing crasy stuff to people or buildings.. so think more good then bad came out of it in the end cause really like myself the way i am today..side effects from the music back then was cursing alot, less caring for anything and cloths..
yoshimurazx14 Says:
Sep 7, 2008 - Look at Xirus5 comment. It is two above this one and you will see what I am talking about. The influence is not always bad and does not always manifest itself in a bad way. But it is there. I am aware of things that I say and do because I am in a position where some young people might be influenced by me. All I was saying, is that MM knows better than to say he has NO, NONE, ZERO influence on his audience. Yes, I knew about the Marilyn part of his name.
yoshimurazx14 Says:
Sep 7, 2008 - I think we are going to have to "agree to disagree". I respect where your coming from. Print this conversation and look at it in 20yrs. You'll be surprised how your opinion might have changed. But then again, maybe it won't. Take care.
yourgay110 Says:
Sep 7, 2008 - Everyone's responsible for their own actions. If someone is easily drawn to acting violent, then they will be violent, regardless of what they listen to.It's the angry PERSON (NOT music) where the violence manifests. It's everyone's responsibility to look up to themselves as their own leader, if one cannot do so, they can still listen to what they CHOOSE to. If angry music triggers anger, listen to pop music or something!!! It's easy to find alternatives for managing anger/violent thoughts.

Sep 7, 2008 - marilyn manson is fuked up
hapsutakki Says:
Sep 7, 2008 - After watching this interview I feel that O'Reilly is actually the corrupting influence and Manson's just a voice of reason :D
trdc3lica Says:
Sep 7, 2008 - Who the hell is BOR talking about using profanity? "FUCK IT! WE'LL DO IT LIVE!.....FUCKING THING SUCKS!".
jorkjica Says:
Sep 7, 2008 - This must be the first Oreilly you've ever watched otherwise you would know he is a catalyst for hate which poisons our society.
jorkjica Says:
Sep 7, 2008 - I don't want my young kids watching marilyn so they don't, but I myself respect the guy's intelligence and actually find him not to be an evil person like oreilly.
Damaris1034 Says:
Sep 7, 2008 - Wow, MM sounds like such an amazing guy. I'd love to be able to sit down and talk with him.
kidtastic78 Says:
Sep 7, 2008 - i know right, his intelligence is so wasted on an loudmouthed jackass like oreilly
USA3333 Says:
Sep 7, 2008 - he seems like an alright guy if he wasnt so twisted and fuked upwaste of intelligence
comotose762 Says:
Sep 7, 2008 - dang this must have been oriellys breaking point, after seeing this freak oreilly then turned in to the crazy guy he is today
wowpwnzall Says:
Sep 7, 2008 - "I respect you for challenging me."HahaHe got owned.
batvette Says:
Sep 7, 2008 - Bill keeps asking "is this necessary" when Marilyn's whole point was to not be ashamed of being DIFFERENT and not be afraid of expressing yourself. Is the makeup or the eye contacts, the "bizarre getup" necessary? Well Bill is that suit you're wearing "necessary"?Why not sit there buttass naked? Props to MM for one of the most eloquent appearances on The Factor in the face of some rather inane lines of questioning.
batvette Says:
Sep 7, 2008 - Human nature never changes. Many people grow up rebelling against their parents, then they have kids and go through years of denial and little white lies in the hopes their kids are more successful than they are. At some point they start up this "what's wrong with kids today,WE didn't do that/listen to that/talk like that when WE were young" which is BS. Sure you did, you just called it something else and want us to forget you were a jackass just like the rest of us.
iamstupidandold Says:
Sep 7, 2008 - O'Reilly must have forgotten how bad the 60's 70's influenced teens to have sex, use drugs and alcohol. Music was about all of those things in the 70's. MM just is more blunt in his lyrics. I love how Marilyn keeps his cool, I would have jacked that bitch in the jaw.
craigg1981 Says:
Sep 7, 2008 - It this Nessasary? No, its not but neither are you Bill! He always seems to forget we live in a free society and just because you wouldn't dress like him doesnt mean its not right! Bill need to get off his high horse already and stop questioning everyone else! Hes done ALOT of things that ALOT of people dont agree with so why does he think hes so perfect? I have met MM and he was one of the most down to earth people I have ever talked to in my life! Bill needs to start looking at himself!
1sonavabitch Says:
Sep 7, 2008 - I do like Bill, but I luv manson. But if everybody behaved and acted proper and only did things that were "necessary" than this world would be so boring i would kill myself. Chill Bill, he is a rocker. He is an artist. And he shouldnt have to sencer his matterial for anyone. NUF SAID

darkseclusion Says:
Sep 7, 2008 - I don't think Bill had the guts to yell at Manson because he seemed intimidated by his looks.
