Nov 6, 2008 - Not really a crescendo - "crescendo" means "get louder". It's more of an "arpeggio" which means "The sounding of the tones of a chord in rapid succession rather than simultaneously," dontcha think? Sorry - it's just that my cats are named after Italian musical terms - I'm a little obsessed! :)
