Nov 18, 2008 - i used to think that dionne warwick's rendition of this was one my all time faves but after hearing aretha's version of it a few yrs ago i had to re-think it and now this baby sits right near the top of my 20 favorites of all time. very tough to come to that conclusion but still not sure about rolling stone saying she's the greatest singer of all time. i think they really stuck it to elton john at #36 or wherever they put him. he deserves a top spot. just a great tunesmith. but aretha's a-ok.
