TheFemaleDurden Says:

Jul 10, 2008 - To add to this- hitlers hatred of the jews and using them as scapegoats came from the popular belief that they were to blame for the dath of jesus. This is hardly atheist, but very religiously inspired.

g12er Says:

Jul 10, 2008 - See you just cited "evidence," which some scholars believe- with good reason- that they are forgeries. But let's say they aren't forgeries, those writings were written decades and in some case centuries after Christ lived. So you are where we began: me asking for evidence. You don't have to have evidence though since "faith" is believing in something without proof. That is why fundamentalists ignore an entire academic discipline- science- in order to believe.

g12er Says:

Jul 10, 2008 - "Hitler may have called himself a christian but in reality he wasn't."So you just ignored the evidence. Show that he wasn't "a Christian." What sources do you have? Where in his writings/speeches does he say that?

bendyourfender Says:

Jul 10, 2008 - holy shit. this is a fucking comment blog for a comedy show. You stupid fucks don't need to discuss christ, hitler, science, religion, and who you mom got pounded by last night. Okay, so just talk about the fucking vid.

g12er Says:

Jul 10, 2008 - "Hitler was no Christian and no Catholic."So you ignored all his references to the Bible and his background."For these and many other reasons i don't judge him as a religious person."You gave vague assertions that could be true of anyone who says their are religious. What evidence do you have to overlook all his speeches/writings and religious background?

blastdude12 Says:

Jul 10, 2008 - I did no such thing as to ignore any evidence. If you have been reading better you would have understood. Hitler claimed himself to be a christian..I agreed with you but heres where I diagree. Hitler may have claimed and even thought himself to be a christian but he never did anything that christians are supposed to do, in fact he did the opposite by killing unjustly, lying to his, people and so on. By doing these he isn't acting to his religion.

ralphenstein Says:

Jul 10, 2008 - Please tell me who exactly is claiming that they are decsended from a rock? Do some bloody research. You seem like an extremely lazy thinker. The difference between atheists and theists is that atheists are more than ready to admit that they don't have all the answers - that's nigh on impossible. Theists, however, already think they know it all, and worse, want to misinform everyone else. The biggest obstacle between mankind and the truth is religion.

dragoons9009 Says:

Jul 10, 2008 - g12er, I'll tell you straight-up. You sir, are an unpleasant obnoxious and pretentious prick.Quoting g12er:"Your misunderstanding in other people's beliefs does not interest me.""You are ignorant about science.""...Judging from your spelling you are probably a child."COME ON. (all unnecessary things to say)

jalpari89 Says:

Jul 10, 2008 - Okay why did u just get into all that faith stuff. My comment was completely outside the real of faith and dealt strictly with history. It's beginning to sound like you've got this basis for your arguments that you keep returning to. I for one am neither surprised nor amused so imma leave you to those guy's ppl gave phd's to and you can believe whatever you want. You're obviously not gonna believe anyone else dr. or otherwise that the historical man named Jesus existed which is fine with me.

clearvision12 Says:

Jul 10, 2008 - Absolutely hilarious! Kent Hovind, a creep & fraud of the 1st rank, is now rotting in jail. good on you, ali-boy!!

aristofanas Says:

Jul 11, 2008 - I still don't get what you want to say. Are you blaming Christians and Bible for Hitler? I haven't heard anything such before.I admit i haven't heard many of his speeches and articles but to say that he was a fair Christian... In Bible you can find anything you want. To deny religion would have ment to lose support of a number of people. Also Hitler made a constant pressure on Church - he tried to get a privilegue to appoint his own bishops in Germany, to keep Vatican silent about his jobs...

g12er Says:

Jul 11, 2008 - Follow the conversation please. Someone claimed Hitler was an atheist. In his background, speeches, writings, etc he was very religious (specifically Catholic). The Nazis tagreted atheists for persecution.I am not saying Hitler's religion drove him to murder, but simply refuting the false claim that he was an atheist.Though keep in mind the origins of modern anti-semitism is from Christians.

g12er Says:

Jul 11, 2008 - "Hitler may have claimed and even thought himself to be a christian but he never did anything that christians are supposed to do..."OK, so you are saying whenever a Christian does something bad they aren't a "real Christian." Seems like a weasel way out of it.Hitler was not an atheist. Hitler believed in God and cited the Bible. If you want to say being a bad person makes him "unChristian" then you have to ignore his actual religious beliefs.

g12er Says:

Jul 11, 2008 - My point is there is no solid proof in history for Jesus. You are a Christian. Christianity is a religion. Religion is FAITH-- lacking evidence. You want history to back up a reason for your faith. But history, as I have shown isn't as supportive of your beliefs. And you have "faith" (religion) so you don't care about facts, which is what you just proved.

g12er Says:

Jul 11, 2008 - Sorry for failing to pretend people are right when they are not and for not treating everyone like a child and hold their hand.If anyone wants to talk about science or history then they should take the time to learn about it.You shouldn't criticize a whole body of facts if you know nothing about it.

g12er Says:

Jul 11, 2008 - ralphenstein,Exactly.

lonerook860 Says:

Jul 11, 2008 - Kent Hovind deserves to be in jail for ignorance alone.

EsotericArsonist Says:

Jul 12, 2008 - saying hitler is not a real christian because he did bad things is actually a logical fallacy. The not a true scotsman fallacy or something like that. Therefore whoever made that comment is retarded

viharsarok Says:

Aug 5, 2008 - I think that creationist leaders are not as stupid as they seem to be. In fact, they are very smart at exploiting the stupidity of those who are really stupid. Maybe Hovind doesn't even believe in a young Earth, but if he gets paid to say so, why wouldn't he say it?

JohnHasSeriousQ Says:

Aug 13, 2008 - Evolution is not a process of life that happened by accident; rather is a process of the Variability within life changing over long periods of time through Natural Selection that is then passed down though Heredity.

Altezza07 Says:

Aug 15, 2008 - Ali g is amazing at improv, how can people not find this funny and take offence to it? i don't get it. people need to lighten up and not take every little thing so damn seriously.

jakebreaker Says:

Sep 26, 2008 - Animals are eukaryotic organisms that eat other organisms (plants/animals) for their survival. By admitting to eating a banana, Hovind admits that he falls under the scientific definition of being an animal. With his status as a member of "Animalia" in mind, it's all a matter of going down the branch of different subgroups to eventually see what kind of animal he ultimately is.(cont.)

argetfalcon Says:

Sep 28, 2008 - Here are just a few other things to consider about about Hovind before you believe his bullshitSpent over $10,000 trying to avoid a $50 building permitHe thinks 9/11 was a conspiracyHe thinks Laetrile is a cure for cancer but the government is withholding the secret from the publicThinks many other diseases were engineered by money makersHe is a convicted felon, and here is one of the excuses he tried to justify his tax evasion. He claimed everything he owned really belonged to God

ShinGino Says:

Sep 28, 2008 - I believe in God.And I believe in evolution.Period.The Bible does not state in detail how the world came to be, and it's our job(for some of us) to find out how. When the Bible states that God created man from dirt, it's a metaphor. Most likely about being low standing ape-like creatures and evolved to the higher standing Homo-sepians.Be more open minded people. The Bible is old and no one then would understand so much scientific stuff. So it just states God did, but not how.

watchsomevidoes Says:

Sep 29, 2008 - Creationist dude clearly needs to read a biology textbook. What a fuckwit.
