Mar 20, 2007 - They do..I saw pictures online before >_<

CanlWriteACheck Says:

Mar 23, 2007 - I'm totally against dolphin massacre too, I love dolphins but really your organization would be more effective fighting the cow, chicken, and pig massacres that are happening closer to home. dolphins are not endangered, and if your only reason against hunting them is "because they have big brains" then you are being selective and unfair.

CanlWriteACheck Says:

Mar 23, 2007 - If you are just fighting the cruel manner in which the dolphins are killed, then you have a more intelligent and reasonable platform, but please, don't embarass yourself by campaigning to save them "because they have big brains."

BlueVoiceOrg Says:

Mar 23, 2007 - To CanIWriteACheck - I am not in the least embarassed by defending dolphins because they have large brains . . also because they are beautiful and inspire me and because the methods of killing are unspeakably brutal. May I ask what you are doing to protect animals of any kind? Hardy Jones

CanlWriteACheck Says:

Mar 23, 2007 - The Japanese fishermen in these clips you show do kill dolphins in an unspeakably brutal inhumane way, but that's just a different culture's approach in preparing food (if they do this everywhere in Japan?). It's cruel and merciless to us, but they might not think so just because they are used to working that way.

CanlWriteACheck Says:

Mar 23, 2007 - To go there and look down on their methods is probably disgracing to them, as cruel and horrific as their ways really are. dolphins are a source of their food and a business, but I do think you can and should try and convince them to show more "decency" in killing dolphins. currently you are making the Japanese out to be a merciless cold-hearted people, which they don't think they are and I hope the viewers of your documentary won't think so either (but many obviously do believe that.)

CanlWriteACheck Says:

Mar 23, 2007 - I actually discovered one of your clips in a spam comment for a video of Paul Kim, former American Idol contestant, singing. I don't know what's up with that, or who in your organization decided to target random videos on Asians to promote awareness for Blue Voice's cause. obviously the dolphin massacre is fueling hatred for more than a few people.

BlueVoiceOrg Says:

Mar 24, 2007 - I don't understand much of what you write but would like to know what you mean by "I discovered one of your clipsin a spam comment for a video of Paul Kim. We make it abundantly clear that WE DO NOT HOLD THE JAPANESE PEOPLE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DOLPHIN SLAUGHTER. It is only 37 fishermen who do it supported by the Japan Fisheries Agency. Your remark about "random videos on Asias is simply idiotic. Hardy

CanlWriteACheck Says:

Mar 24, 2007 - never mind, buddy. good luck with helping the dolphins.

Mar 24, 2007 - omg! I'm not japanese but i'd be pissed off if another country criticized the way i hunt or kill my food. Holy **** every friggen country has there way of merciless comerical killing. Why don't you look at the flaws in our own country instead of making others look bad.

BlueVoiceOrg Says:

Mar 26, 2007 - It is not a country or the Japanese who kill dolphins in this cruel manner. It is a small group of fishermen - 37 in total. We work with Japanese people to try to end this barbarity. I have spent my life working with dolphins so it is appropriate that I try to aid them. Hardy Jones

BlueVoiceOrg Says:

May 17, 2007 - Keeping highly intelligent animals such as dolphins in captivity is extremely cruel. Many dolphins die in the capture process. The dolphins who are captured are taken from their families. They are condemned to spend the rest of their lives in cement tanks, often in unsanitary conditions, forced to perform tricks for food. There are captive dolphins around the world and they all share the same cruel existence.

Aug 3, 2007 - omg i cried my fukin eyes out watching this i love dolphins most beautiful animals on this land do no harm to any 1 i support u all the way and ill sign up xx

PaLovesFa Says:

Aug 4, 2007 - The campaign is admirable. The statement is expansive and misleading. While there may be some dolphins held in substandard conditions in the "world", you'd be hard pressed to find them in the US. There hasn't been a dolphin collection in the US—or someplace else for a US facility—since 1993, You appear to be deliberately connecting the brutal capture and killing in Japan with sustainable, healthy dolphins in the care of humans. You don't need to fib. Keep up the fight but say it right!

r1cardopinheiro Says:

Sep 8, 2007 - It seems to be more than 37 fishermen considering the number of boats in the video.

amiebuffalo Says:

Nov 11, 2008 - Japanese is also responsible for the shortage of fish stock. Not just dolphins. Japan, largest consumer of seafood, 40% of japanese diet are seafood. they bloody eat everything that crawls under the sea bed. We can change it. spread the news to everyone you know even japanese friends. Share this among ur friends. We need to put awareness among people. We need to give Japan the pressure, go to the website and donate, sign petition, join the campaign.
