tntitantexan Says:

Apr 29, 2008 - knowing tori, despite what this person said, its probably the dirty one.

nickymace Says:

Apr 29, 2008 - I know its not as if Tori is shy to make such inferences! lol!

protobuilder Says:

May 1, 2008 - stop crying

carcoughster Says:

May 2, 2008 - I am sorry, but knowing (and loving) Tori for years...I think it is the dirty one. I love your interpretation tho--and you could be right. I hope we all find out one day! She is BRILLIANT...we all know that!

lovegirls88 Says:

May 10, 2008 - When I hear this song I go into a trance. I adore every song ever released in the hands of Tori but this one moves me with more power than I have ever felt. She never lets me down only continues to surprise me!!!

BasSpook Says:

May 14, 2008 - I think Tori uses so many lyrical metaphors ie:"turn the page" is because they can mean more tham one thing to each listener... to some the line means quit crying, to others it will mean 'this ride ain't fun anymore' the cool thing is that it all subjective and correct however you interpret it. Either way she has one of most emotive voices ever caught on tape.. I saw her in the Orpheum in Vancouver B.C. easily one of the best shows I ever saw.... and I've seen many many many artists.Rhys

Dominicano1197 Says:

Jun 5, 2008 - it's the dirty one for sure, it's widely accepted as that, at least, and I find it to be much better that way than comparing it to tears.

nickymace Says:

Jun 5, 2008 - Yes I think looking at the majority of replies to my question, we are all in agreement...the wet she talks of is in a sexual context! lol. I must agree it makes the song more interesting with that interpretation.

Oct 2, 2008 - Love this song so much! was played at my friends boyfriend's funeral :(...Tori is amazing

Smoohah Says:

Oct 3, 2008 - I am sorry about your boyfriend, but it was a fitting song. If I ever get married I want her version of "Thank You" form the Crucify single played at my wedding.

NouEntiendou Says:

Oct 7, 2008 - Love this video! And of course the song is a beauty..

character75 Says:

Oct 9, 2008 - this is one of my all-time favorite tori songs. i think she herself would be honored to see the terrific job you've done putting her music to this beautiful video. very nice indeed.

Irideika Says:

Oct 12, 2008 - I don't interpret that part of the song (when you're only wet because of the rain) as sexual. That always rang to me as follows: you aren't really crying, it's just the rain washing over you. Because it's time to turn that page - it's time to stop crying.

Atsushisarmy Says:

Oct 12, 2008 - Not me I read it as the passion has run out.

ENeithneYA Says:

Oct 14, 2008 - Mine too. lmfao.

helikopteryes Says:

Oct 30, 2008 - I had a northern lad exactly described in that song( and he was really from north)

PETULACLARK Says:

Nov 14, 2008 - Her music moves me in a way I cant describe...So melancolic and beautiful...Was so fortunate so hear her in Copenhagen a couple of years ago..Amazing..Even though I´ve never met her, her music will forever make her my kindred spirit!;) Love you....;)

Celestialtears006 Says:

Nov 14, 2008 - I interpret the rain as a symbol of distractions or things that get in the way. Fire is usually considered the symbol of love..rain kind of puts it out..thus passion dies.
