Jun 29, 2008 - Reaally sickening conversation. After saying all these never tell that any of you are from Bangladesh please. Did any one of you heard of holocaust, or have seen movies like Schindler's list, Freedom Writers. Have any of you heard about Martin Kuther King Jr? If not give it a thought. I feel really pity.

Jul 22, 2008 - Such a beautiful song... Does anyone know if this is originally by hemanta mukerjee???.... o and dont worry about asses.... the wonderful culture is admired by intelligent people.

Madhu90210 Says:

Jul 26, 2008 - Hemant Kumar (Hemanta Mukherjee) is the singer and he is also the music director. He also used the same tune for the song ye nayan dare dare which he sang in the Hindi movie Kohra starring Biswajeet & Waheeda Rehman.

basagora Says:

Aug 4, 2008 - Without any question this song is the all time best among all songs from Bengali movies, if not among all Bengali modern songs. The Hindi version is simply not as good.

nilimanil Says:

Aug 5, 2008 - my one of favorite song.

parleegee Says:

Aug 5, 2008 - The Hindi version is "Khamoshi"(1969) starring Waheeda Rehman. The Bengali version,"Deep Jele Jai"(1959) has more of haunting beauty in both the scenery and the song. The actions are almost identical with Suchitra/Waheeda walking up the stairway, and hallway carrying the book with a forlorn look. The Hindi version uses too much bright light in its setting, foreground and background.
