Everyone knows testosterone is a steroidal hormone, but it's not being used as a steroid here (both because it's not being used that way and it's administered in a way that wouldn't produce average steroid results). Steroid, as the term, means T used specifically for muscle. It's not called "steroids" for medical purposes.
