Oct 2, 2008 - Rockys actually are the biggest nostalgic timemachine to my childhood. I just love those movies. I even cried at the ending of Rocky Balboa when Rocky is standing on top of the stairs and looking Philadelphia.

Because with all the effort Stallone put into this movie ,knowing how much it could end up as a total failure, I see it more as an ending to the series mostly done for the fans, but even for the feeling of playing his most beloved role as Rocky again. Not for the money and fame. If you think about the character "Rocky" (not the actor stallone), we knew he was never going to give up and a sequeal was almost predictable. So the age doesnt mather.

Oct 22, 2008 - You can't go wrong with rocky part 1, i also enjoyed rocky 2 and rocky balboa (2006)......im also starting to become a fan of rocky 5 again, because i like rocky 1 and 2 so much...i think rocky 5 is similar to the first 2 film's.The one's which i think don't belong in my collection are rocky 3 and 4 these were more or less cheap..over the top action flick's...which i did like when i was younger but not that much anymore.

Nov 29, 2008 - One thing I loved about Rocky was he was a realist. He knew he couldn't beat Creed so all he wanted was to go the distance because nobody ever had with Creed. He knew if he could then he wasn't just another bum from the nieghborhood. In that message people feel that it doesn't matter if they achieve thier goal, it's just important that they tried and gave thier best.
